I remember that morning December 8, 2015. That night I didn’t sleep at all, there was so much stuff on my mind. It was around 6 a.m when I decided to stand up from my bed. For some reason the window was calling to me, there were these amazing colors shining trough the glass. I didn’t believe what I was looking at… Blue Sky, horse tail clouds, and fog! It was magical!! I proceeded to grab my camera, wide-angle lens, and tripod and drove out to a location I already had in mind. It’s always best to scout locations before hand and keep them in mind for events like this. Saves a lot of time

That morning was so cold I forgot to pack gloves and a jacket haha, I was freezing out there. I was in a rush because I didn’t want to miss any changes in the environment. I remember grabbing my dad’s truck knowing that I would have to drive off-road to reach the location I had in mind. As soon as I got there the fog was already starting to kinda fade away…

It’s cool how that night of not getting sleep gave me the opportunity to photograph such a mesmerizing sunrise. Like something was keeping me up so I wouldn’t miss this chance to capture one of the best mornings I have ever experienced. People still can’t believe these were taken in Texas! We have some of the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets, come see for yourself. Hope you enjoyed my post :]
